I just wanted to let you know how much you've helped me. After last night's webinar were you mentioned that you quit teaching every week because you don't know if you're good or if we're learning, I thought that I should share with you how important discovering your classes has been to me.
I launched my website in July 2015 and pretty much sat back and relaxed waiting for business to come to me. Needless to say I had ZERO bookings from July to December. I knew there were many things I had to do but I didn't know what, when or how! Then I joined the Sell Yourself class. Big eye opener. You started giving me direction. You were like a compass to me, pointing where I should head, what I should do first, second, third. Then the marketing course helped me to put all that selling skills to action, it really pushed me beyond my comfort zone and despite the fact that it was super scary, I did it! And then your workshop, I can't even tell you how much it has helped me. I have had more success with bookings, sessions and sales these past few weeks than the whole last year.
Your bluntness in teaching is what I needed to understand my weaknesses and my strengths. But your comments are filled with the positive energy to grow and become better, we as students can feel that. That's why I love your teaching. You say things how they are, and that's the only way to learn. You are not condescending, you treat us as peers you respect and want to see improve.
If it weren't for your courses and workshop, I'd still be lost in procrastinationland with a 'business' destined to failure. I know I still have a lot to work on in order to be successful, but at least now I know the path I must head to. And the best part: it excites me so much, I've made photography my life, my dreams, and my everything. All this thanks to you.
I don't know if this helps in any way, but from my experience, I can tell you you are a great teacher, and we all aspiring pros would lost a great mentor if you quit teaching. Please don't. At least don't do it because you think we don't learn. You just have our brains churning so much that we don't have the words to thank you!
I hope to keep learning from you for years to come"
